SEPTEMBER WISHLIST (31/08/14)

Sunday, 31 August 2014
Hi everyone!

As I have mentioned in my previous post, I have been away from my computer for just over a week now as I was in the middle of a move. But now I have successfully moved and reunited with my computer. For my first post back in the blogosphere, I have decided to do a "September Wishlist"

(if you couldn't already tell by the title of this post...)

The Autumn/Winter collection is slowly creeping into our local shops in the last few weeks so this is going to be a wishlist of things that I want for this new season. From the research that I have done, the 60's style is in this time round, along with; dark floral patterns and also tartan patterns.

- Clutch bag -
To start off with I have picked out this Monochrome print clutch bag. The clutch looks like it is of a decent size which means that you can carry a few more bits and bobs on a night out rather than trying to cram everything you need into a tiny little clutch bag. Because of the monochrome print, you are able to pair this clutch with a wide selection of outfits. For example, you could go with either a black or white dress for a night out. I think that this clutch bag is quite simplistic which makes it a lot easier to style with different outfits.

- Kimono -
As mentioned above, dark floral patterns are in this season so I have managed to hunt out this gorgeous kimono. With the blue and black floral combo, you can style this up over a black cami top and pair them with skinny jeans and strappy heels with a good statement necklace are you are good to go.

- Skirt -
Tartan has also inevitably made its way back into season just in time for the Autumn/Winter. You can pair this with a chiffon shirt and a navy coloured blazer and then that could be a great look for work or going out. I love tartan patterns like this as you can style it many different ways.

- Coat -
I really love this coat as it gives off a whole 60's vibe. I love the wool on the main body of the coat but then you also have leather sleeves, I find this a unusual combination and not many things would be able to pull it off however I think that this coat looks great with such an odd combination.

- Trousers -
Statement trousers are always going to look fab. You can style them nicely with a black cami top with a nice blazer and a big floppy hat. I feel that these are really nice to wear as casual or for more formal events.

- Dress -
This black and beige coloured dress looks amazing. Again, this dress could be worn as either a day or night dress. This could be worn with a chunky black cardigan with black tights a kitten heels for work or you could glam it up a bit with gold bangles and gold heels for a night out on the town.
