EVENT | LUSH MIDDLESBROUGH

Friday, 20 February 2015
Sorry for the picture heavy post, I always find that the LUSH stores are incredibly photogenic! So, yesterday I went to my very first event at my local LUSH store in Middlesbrough. This was the stores first blogger event (of many hopefully!) and was also tied in with the release of their Volume 3 perfumes. Despite the fact that I've never smelt a Lush perfume before, Victoria did an amazing job of going through each of the fragrances and explained the individual stories behind each perfume. The fragrances are; Kerbside Violet, Death and Decay and All Good Things. Each fragrance was passed around for us to smell and my favourites are Kerbside Violet and Death and Decay.

Alongside learning about the new perfume releases, we were also shown the products in the Mother's Day range. As I am still fairly new to LUSH, this is my first experience with the Mother's Day range however it all smelt amazing (as did everything.) My favourite is Ultraviolet as it smells like Parma Violets. We were also given the opportunity to collaboratively make our own face mask and then take a sample home! Everyone got their hands stuck in with squishing the blueberries and mixing it all together, which for me was a HUGE stress reliever!

Considering this was Lush Middlesbrough's first blogger event, they did an incredible job and the lovely ladies should be really proud of themselves! I thoroughly enjoyed being there and I can't wait for future events. I bought a few things from the event so I will haul them in the next few days and I am probably going to include another Lush haul (which I originally did back in August) however my blog got deleted and that post went with :-)

If you go and buy any of the new products then make sure you post a picture to any social media and tag them with #gorillaperfume so we get to see them. I hoped that you enjoyed this post and I seriously recommend checking out the new products in-store if you haven't done so already!
